Plants & Poetry

an online nature inspired literary journal publishing poetry, prose, & art by writers and artists.

Are you a writer or an artist? Here in this Journal, we explore our experiences as active, moving parts of this ecosystem from what we write, what we create, and what we share among one another. Each contributor has their own page where one can receive support directly from readers.

you submit, we plant

Plants & Poetry offers poetry & plant education to reconnect with the soil and ourselves. Each plant we share is accompanied with a poem that teaches one how to take care of the plant. Every submission we receive for the Journal, we plant a tree or type of vegetation in and around our neighborhoods.

Whether you’re a poet, gardener, scientist, or storyteller, we invite you to contribute your perspective. Please include a short bio (for author credit) and any website or social media handles you’d like linked in your post.
